Many many thanks to all involved in organising and staffing another excellent DCA Fireworks Event. The hard work that so many people put in has been rewarded with some great positive feedback:
“Would just like to say a big thank you to all those involved in organising the display and on the evening itself for an excellent display and fantastic family centred evening. My grandchildren really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back next year.” Sharon
“I was very impressed by the way the event was organised. Ticket sales in the car entrance without delaying ticket holders and the ushers along the route for car parking demonstrated that a lot of thought and preparation had gone into arranging the show. The firework display was well worth the entry fee. Well done DCA.” Les
Some photos of the display can be seen below, if you have any please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll publish them here
There has been a little rain today but the evening is now lovely and clear. Have fun !

This year’s Herons Summer Sleepover is scheduled for Saturday 13th / Sunday 14th July!
This is our annual event where we can all get together down at the Hernhill Playing Fields, pitch tents for the night and spend an afternoon/evening relaxing in the great outdoors (fingers crossed for the weather!), playing a few games, consuming plenty of food and generally enjoying the summer atmosphere. Events include:-
Other outdoor games and races
Roaring campfire (with marshmallows!)
Food on Saturday evening (burgers, sausages, chilli)
Breakfast on Sunday morning (bacon rolls and cereal)
…and more besides…!
This includes the food mentioned above plus some soft drinks. Just to be clear, if the event is cancelled by the club for whatever reason, the price will of course be refunded. And don’t worry if you don’t fancy staying over, you are still more than welcome to buy a ticket and come down and join in on Saturday afternoon/evening.
This is a great opportunity for HHH players, parents, families and coaches to get together and chill out – so it would be really brilliant to see you there.
